[VIDEO] Blatant traffic violations in Kramerville caught on camera

KRAMERVILLE – A frustrated motorist captures a truck and minibus taxi crossing a red traffic light on South Road, on the corner of Desmond Street.


Traffic violations have quickly become a norm on Johannesburg roads and some motorist are fed up. 

One such motorist is Dylan Slater who recorded how some motorist’s don’t adhere to rules of the road, and said, “The video shows two vehicles passing through a solid red traffic light on South Road, on the corner of Desmond Street in Kramerville (near Sandton). Had vehicles been travelling through the traffic light at those exact points in time, there would have been moderate to serious collisions. “

The video was taken by Slater early on 26 February, both vehicles at no point try to slow down or stop at the red traffic light.

He added, “They both continued to drive on as if nothing had happened. This is an everyday occurrence at this traffic light, but the frequency of drivers just not bothering to stop is becoming more commonplace.”
