Fourways residents have the opportunity to take part in something special – Montecasino will be hosting a three-day family-friendly CANSA Shavathon from 8 to 10 March to raise much-needed funds for CANSA’s unique, integrated service and holistic care and support for cancer survivors.
Whether you’d prefer to spray your hair or shave your head, the event aims to deliver fun, comaraderie and hope. This year marks the 16th national Shavathon and the theme is #ColouringHope.
The Fourways Review will also be participating under the Caxton Cares banner over the course of the weekend as we do our part to support the community so be sure to look out for us and snap some pictures.
“Montecasino cares about our community – and with our resources and reach, we have the privilege to be able to host an event that will ultimately make a real difference to people’s lives. We look forward to this weekend ‘festival of caring and hope’, and to challenging everyone within our community to pop in and join the #ColouringHope movement,” said Mike Page, director of operations for Montecasino.
The Shavathon will be held on the Promo Stage opposite Skoobs with tickets on sale at the event at R50 for adults and R25 for children under the age of 12.
