Bresica House celebrates 100 per cent Bachelor Degree Pass for fourth year in a row

BRYANSTON – The 59 learners in the 2018 matric class obtained a total of 231 distinctions.

Brescia House School applauds the Grade 12 learners of 2018 for their fantastic matric results. The school attained a 100 per cent pass rate as well as 100 per cent University entrance for the fourth year running.

Caryn Bishop and Chloé Longwitz were both awarded an Outstanding Achievement for being placed within the top five per cent of Independent Examinations Board (IEB) learners in six or more subjects. Nompumelelo Tshabalala and Julia Bishop were awarded a Commendable Achievement for being placed within the top five per cent of IEB learners in five subjects. In addition to this, 23 candidates were placed within the top one per cent of IEB learners in their specific subjects. A total of 231 distinctions were achieved from 59 girls, which resulted in an average of 3.9 distinctions per candidate.

The Ursuline Sisters, Board of Governors, Parent-Teachers’ Association and headmistresses acknowledge all the learners’ achievements – those who excelled in the Independent Examinations Board benchmarks and those who achieved personal triumphs in reaching their full potential.

One learner obtained nine distinctions, four learners obtained eight distinctions and five candidates obtained seven distinctions.

Nompumelelo Tshabalala obtained nine distinctions while Caryn Bishop, Julia Bishop, Chloé Longwitz and Mokgethwa Mkalipe each obtained eight distinctions.
