SANDTON – The Sandton SPCA has partnered with Wrenrose Court to host its first annual Christmas market.

The Sandton SPCA will host its first annual Christmas market at Wrenrose Court situated in the heart of Birdhaven.

The new tradition of the Christmas market will take place on 5 December and will become an annual event. It will be a combined effort of the tenants living in Wrenrose Court.

The hub of activities will be brought together in the Courtyard of Arbour Café and the interleading passageways with a variety of foods, drinks and gifts.

Award-winning artist Vuma Levin, part of a three-piece band will provide entertainment to lighten the atmosphere and create a festive cheer.

Wrenrose Court has partnered with the Sandton SPCA in order not only to raise awareness of the work they do but since this is the season of giving, what better way than to help raise money for them as an organisation?

Some of the highlights that make this Christmas market different include a fashion show and a raffle-ticket draw will be part of the evening’s proceedings. All tickets sales will go towards the Sandton SPCA.

The general manager of Sandton SPCA, Jaco Pieterse said, “We are excited about the idea of partnering with such a great venture.”

For adults, there will be champagne, wine, coffee, great food, live music and Sandton SPCA merchandise. The proceeds of the raffle tickets and 50 per cent of the face-painting takings will be going to the Sandton SPCA.

The market is set to run from 5pm to 9pm and the fashion show starts at 7pm. The first 50 people to arrive at the market will be offered a free glass of wine.
