A swift response from Sandton police led to the arrest of three house robbers in Wendywood.
Captain Granville Meyer, the spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station, said the incident occurred in Wendywood on 23 November when the suspects accosted the victim in his house and tied him up.
He said the victim managed to contact his security services provider and they contacted the police.
Meyer added that items at an estimated value of R148 000 were stolen but they were all recovered.
“They were remanded in custody and have appeared in the Alexandra Regional Court.”
