Two women arrested for theft in Woodmead – Sandton police

WOODMEAD – The Crime Combatting Team of Sandton Police Station arrested the two suspects immediately after the incident.

A swift response by the Sandton Police Crime Combatting Team led to the arrests of two women at a pharmacy in Woodmead on 22 October.

Captain Granville Meyer, the spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station said the women aged 30 and 31 years old snatched the cell phone of an employee after they entered the pharmacy.

The police were immediately contacted and responded swiftly and arrested the suspects. The cell phone had an estimated value of R14 000.

The suspects are currently in detention and will appear in court soon.
