Motorist wounded in a drive-by shooting at a filling station in Sandton

SANDTON – A man was recently wounded when he was shot at a petrol station on Rivonia Road.

A motorist was recently shot and wounded at a filling station in Sandton.

The incident happened on 15 October and according to Captain Granville Meyer, spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station, the victim allegedly pulled into the filling station on Rivonia Road when shots were fired at his motor vehicle.

“When the police members arrived on the scene, the victim was already taken to a hospital.”

He continued that upon further investigation, it was found that the victim sustained two bullet wounds but is in a stable condition in hospital.
