Water outage experienced throughout Bryanston

BRYANSTON – Some Bryanston residents claim they have been without water for over three days.

Bryanston residents have complained of a days-long water outage in the area, believed to have been caused by a burst pipe on Bantry Road.

Joburg Water had warned of a planned outage in the area on 6 October however residents took to Twitter to complain that they had no water before the planned outage and are still without water, three days after the planned outage.

Twitter user Laura van der Merwe filmed the water leak on Bantry Road on 6 October and noted that it had not been addressed for two days. Joburg Water has since confirmed that there is a team on site working on the burst pipe.
