Police address domestic violence with seminar

SANDTON – The Sandton police will host a domestic violence seminar on 20 October.

The Sandton Police Station will host a domestic violence seminar to make the community aware of gender-based violence in the precinct.

Other important matters to be addressed include drug addiction, HIV/Aids, human trafficking and poverty.

NGO’s, NPO’s, faith-based organisations and all who are already reaching out in the community to make a positive difference are urged to attend.

The aim is to form a solid network with all relevant role players and create a database of organisations in the community which will train and equip, educate and empower as many as possible with the goal of uplifting the community.

The seminar will take place on 20 October at 9am at Redhill School, 20 Summit Road, Morningside
