Recognition for St Stithians musicians

SANDTON – St Stithians recently recognised several boys for their musical achievements.

St Stithians College recently congratulated several boys who participated in external music examinations, which took place earlier this year, but the school gave recognition to the boys who took the examinations on 14 September.

These were conducted by visiting examiners from international boards (in the case of practical examinations) or sent overseas for marking (in the case of theory papers).

St Stithians headmaster David du Toit congratulates the boys on their achievements.

The exams were taken with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity College London and Rockschool, all based in the United Kingdom and the exams are graded according to difficulty and technical demands and the qualifications are recognised worldwide.
