Peugeot on the move in 2018

As a brand with a rich history within the local market, it’s great to see that Peugeot has embraced the ever-evolving automotive landscape with its updated model line-up. In addition to a strong and relevant product portfolio, the brand has aimed to revolutionise car sales with its “We come to you” campaign.

The 208

At the most attainable end of the spectrum, Peugeot has the 208 which offers a premium interior, a sophisticated exterior and a range of technically advanced and efficient engines and gearboxes for the sort of money you’d expect to pay for a budget car, Combine the affordable 208 Active and Allure models with the desirable and sport 208 GT-Line and you have  a hatchback range that appeals to a wider audience.

The 2008

Moving up the model range we find the 2008, a crossover that’s big on efficiency, space and value. With the mass migration of consumers from sedan and larger hatchback to crossovers and SUVs, the 2008 find itself in the right place at the right time. The 1.6-litre HDi diesel engine found throughout the 2008 range is a gem, with load of torque and fuel consumption that has to be seen to be believed.

The 308

As the most recently updated model within the local Peugeot line-up, the 308 serves as a demonstration of what the Peugeot brand is capable of within one of the most competitive segments in the market. With a new vertical grille which frames the iconic Lion badge, a refreshed i-Cockpit complete with a 9.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, the 308 is bang up to date and ready to take the fight to its key rivals.

“The New Peugeot 308 Allure is now more competitive than ever. Safety and technology are part of the Peugeot DNA and this vehicle won’t disappoint. The new styling and premium interior offer a unique package – it’s a definite all-rounder.” Francisco Gaie, Managing Director at Peugeot Citroën South Africa said.

The 3008

This award-winning SUV has been taking home the silverware in various international car excellence and ownership satisfaction surveys. The 3008 is a game changer or the French brand with its futuristic interior design, its suave, and sophisticated design language and of course, the value and practicality proposition that it offers buyers within the global and local markets.

As a staple within the Peugeot range for years, the 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol motor has now been joined by a torquey and frugal 2.0-litre turbodiesel version, which like its petrol sibling, is available in both Allure and GT-Line specifications.

We come to you

The “We come to you” campaign is a great service offered by the brand. In very basic terms the interested buyer simply submits an enquiry on the vehicle of their choice, a Peugeot representative will call you back and arrange a test drive that’s convenient for you at home or at work. The brand will also then take care of your trade-in and finance on the new vehicle, making the buying process easy.
