The Sandton Chronicle has received reports that there is protest action on Grayston Drive in Sandton.

According to our sister publication, Alex News, residents of Alexandra gathered at KwaNobuhle hostel this morning, 29 June, in preparation for their march to the City of Joburg Region E offices in Sandton to tender their grievances.

Residents say they are sick and tired of electricity and water cuts which have been going on for months. Many of those taking part in the march were seen wearing Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) regalia.
