A video displaying an incredible act of kindness in Sandton has gone viral on social media.
A man, known as Malcolm X, offers to buy a dishevelled young man whatever he wants in the Checkers Hyper at Sandton City. The young man, Tsvangirai, initially asks for two pieces of chicken, however, Malcolm X insists he chooses whatever we wants in the store.
Eventually, Tsvangirai walks off with a trolley full of groceries totalling just over R700 and tells the cashier to keep the change.
Malcolm X then offers Tsvangirai some cash and offers to call a taxi to take him home.
Malcom X’s social media accounts are full of him donating money to university students across the country.
The video, which was shared on Bl Phakathi’s Facebook timeline has been shared over 67 000 times and have been viewed nearly 3 million times.
