Two suspects arrested following cellphone store robbery

SANDTON – The two suspects were arrested by the Metro police and the Flying Squad.

Various electronic devices were confiscated from two suspects in Sandton following a cellphone store robbery.

The Metro police and the Flying Squad arrested two suspects on 26 March.

The suspects, a man and a woman, were arrested following the robbery of a cellphone shop in Sandton.

According to the Metro police’s Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar, the suspects were found in possession of six hard drives, 26 tablets, 250 cellphones and a vehicle which belonged to the company.

Captain Granville Meyer, spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station could not confirm the arrests.
