Crawford College assists at Fidelitas school

SANDTON – The teachers and Grade 10s to 12s recently paid a visit to the Fidelitas High School Grade 8s.

The Grade 10s,11s and 12s together with teachers of Crawford College once again paid a visit to the Grade 8s of Fidelitas High School in Diepkloof Soweto.

The children and teachers visited the school to share their mathematical knowledge with the enthusiastic youngsters.

In this session of peer-to-peer teaching, the young tutors imparted valuable knowledge on the laws of exponents with the Grade 8s.

The Grade 8s found this challenging section quite overwhelming at first, but after the experienced senior tutors had diligently explained all the exponential laws, the Grade 8s smiled and tackled their worksheets with confidence. A break was followed by a short test and the results proved that the Crawford tutors had been successful in clearing the confusion about exponents.

The Fidelitas Grade 8s left the class smiling and so did the tutors. It was certainly rewarding for all who were involved.

The teachers and young tutors are looking forward to the next opportunity to assist these young minds.
