Bryanston resident and Eblockwatch founder, Andre Snyman, has shared a video of a cash-in-transit heist on the Mabopane highway on Friday morning.
Snyman said, “This is the only country in the world that citizens watch as a cash-in-transit van is being blown up, like they are watching a lion kill in the Kruger National Park, then, when it is over, they carry on like it is a normal morning and continue on their drive to work.”
The video shows how the suspects emptying the vehicle and bombing it.
The Centurion Rekord reports that the suspects shot the tyres of the van, forcing it to stop.
The website further reported that a robbery case was opened.
