CHOC receives early Christmas gift

RIVONIA – CHOC recently received a very substantial Christmas gift from West Pack Lifestyle.

The Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa (CHOC) in Rivonia received an early Christmas present from West Pack (WEST PACK) Lifestyle in the form of a cheque for a whopping R10 000.

West Pack Lifestyle is currently running a competition until 23 December, where every R200 spent at West Pack Lifestyle between 31 October and 23 December enters shoppers into a competition where they can win big cash prizes.

Brian Flote was one of the fortunate souls who won a R10 000 cash prize. As part of his prize, Flote was given the opportunity to choose a non-governmental organisation or charity which would receive a R10 000 donation.

Flote chose to support CHOC.

“I was thinking about who should receive the money and then I remember the ads CHOC did with Francois Pienaar. I decided there and then that CHOC deserved the money. Their marketing campaign was obviously successful,” Flote said.

CHOC chief executive officer, Carl Queiros was delighted to receive such a generous donation. “We rely on donations from the public and businesses so it is always great to see when business and community come together to assist in our cause. We would like to thank West Pack Lifestyle and Brian for this amazing contribution. It will help save lives,” Queiros said.
