#ICYMI: Two suspects arrested on M1 South

SANDTON – Metro police arrested two suspects. Find out why here.

 

Two suspects were arrested by Metro police near the M1 South Marlboro off-ramp on 31 October.

According to Brigadier Egen Moodley, station commander at Sandton Police Station, said the two suspects were arrested and 40 used tablets and cellphones were recovered.

Moodley said, “The items were possibly taken from a robbery of a school in Tembisa. Lieutenant Colonel Zwane is awaiting further information from the Tembisa Cluster.

“The two suspects will be detained at Sandton Police Station for possession of suspected stolen property and possession of housebreaking equipment.”
