Friendship group invites public to chat with Dr Judy in Bryanston

BRYANSTON – The Explorers Friendship and Chat Group invites interested members of the public to a stimulating talk on stress management and the power of positive thinking.

 

The Explorers Friendship and Chat Group welcome members of the community to a stimulating talk on stress management and positive thinking presented by television and radio personality Dr Judy Jaye on 20 October.

The group began in 2015 to when a group of like-minded friends got together.

They host guest speakers discussing a variety of topics on the third Friday of every month.

Jaye has an educational background and was awarded her PhD in 2002 by Wits University and has worked in the corporate environment. She is well-known in and by media and has appeared in many print magazines and on radio for her discussions.

Dr Judy Jaye will discuss how to manage stress at the upcoming Explorers Friendship and Chat group in Bryanston.

She now talks to groups on stress management, conflict resolution, assertiveness, goal setting, positive thinking and all aspects of self-management while enjoying spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Coordinator of the group, Shelley Addis said, “She enhances people’s appreciation of their lives and assists with self-help, depression and stress management. I am excited to host her at our upcoming event.”

Before Jaye begins her talk, there will be a presentation by Nicole Morrison, founder of Matchbox Babies which takes care of some of the many children that are abandoned across the country each year.

“Nicole will speak about their upcoming event to raise funds for Matchbox Babies to combat this heartbreaking phenomenon.”

After the stimulating discussion, attendees can enjoy a cup of tea and chat under the trees at the venue in Bryanston.
