Grace Mugabe’s day of judgement has arrived

PRETORIA – This is following the incident in which Mugabe allegedly assaulted Engels using an electrical extension cord in a Sandton hotel in August.

The High Court in Pretoria is expected to deliver its judgment today (6 October) on the application to serve Zimbabwean first lady Grace Mugabe with court papers, News24 reported.

The application was brought by model Gabriella Engels and AfriForum.

This is following the incident in which Mugabe allegedly assaulted Engels using an electrical extension cord in a Sandton hotel in August.

Engels claimed that the first lady’s bodyguards stood by and watched the incident unfold while Mugabe’s sons fled the scene.

Mugabe was expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 15 August but failed to make an appearance.

Sandton Chronicle will provide more information as it becomes available.
