Little ones from Junior College Preschool Tiny Town recently celebrated Heritage Day by learning about different aspects of South African culture and traditions.
Bev O’Shea, principal of the preschool said, “Each year we celebrate Grandparents Day/Special Person’s Day together with Heritage Day. Childhood is enriched by having loving people sharing special times with us.”
Grandparents, aunts, uncles and family friends attended this special day.”
O’Shea said the children lovingly made gifts for everyone and each class sang songs and recited poems.
“It was a special morning and time for the children to bond with these special people in their lives and the playground was a hive of activity with adults and children joining in the fun.”
