Dr Jane discusses stress management and positive thinking

BRYANSTON – Members of the public are invited to a talk on stress management and positive thinking by well-known speaker Dr Judy Jane on 15 September.

The Explorers Friendship and Chat Group invites the public to a talk by the well-known speaker, Dr Judy Jane, on stress-management and positive thinking on 15 September.

The Explorers Friendship and Chat Group began in 2015 to join together a group of like-minded friends. They host guest speakers discussing a variety of topics on the third Friday of every month.

Explorers become creative and invite Bryanston community members to join the conversation

Jane has an educational background and was awarded her PhD in 2002 by Wits University and worked in the corporate environment. She is widely known by the media and has appeared in many print magazines and on radio discussions. She now talks to groups on stress-management, conflict resolution, assertiveness, goal setting, positive thinking and all aspects of self-management while enjoying her family and grandchildren.

Coordinator of the group, Shelley Addis, said, “She enhances people’s appreciation of their lives and assists with self-help, depression and stress management. I am excited to host her at our upcoming event.”

Last month’s talk was met with much interest from the community, with many conservation-minded people in attendance. Addis said the guest speaker, Thomas Linders, discussed health, psychological issues and the conservation of water.

Details: The event is open to anyone and will take place at a venue in Bryanston, beginning at 10am. For more information, contact Shelley on 083 409 7927.
