Sandton police arrest two suspects for unlicensed firearm

SANDTON – Sandton police recently arrested two suspects for an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

 

Sandton police, together with the Sandton Crime Combating Unit, arrested two suspects on the R55 in Woodmead who were found with an unlicensed firearm, one live round, balaclavas and gloves.

According to Brigadier Egen Moodley of Sandton Police Station, the suspects, aged 21 and 22, were arrested when the unit team stopped and searched a taxi.
