Sandton police officers made a total of 89 arrests for various offenses across Sandton over the past week.
The arrests were as follows:
- 16 for driving under the influence
- 20 for theft
- 14 for possession of drugs
- 1 for business robbery
- 2 for malicious damage to property
- 1 for extortion
- 5 for fraud
- 5 for assault
- 4 for armed robbery
- 2 for trespassing
- 2 for possession of stolen motor vehicle
- 1 for attempted robbery
- 1 for reckless and negligent driving
- 13 for shoplifting.
