Sandton Police Station arrested 113 suspects for various offences in the Sandton area the past week.
The 113 arrests include:
- 15 for possession of drugs
- 61 arrested for driving under the influence
- 17 arrested for shoplifting
- 2 arrests for extortion and conspiracy to commit murder
- 5 arrests for assault
- 5 arrested for sexual offences (prostitution)
- 2 arrests for theft
- 2 arrests for malicious damage to property
- 1 arrest for contempt of court
- 1 arrest for interference with police duties
- 1 arrest for reckless and negligent driving
- 2 arrested for house robbery.
