This year’s South African tour of The Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games is excited to announce that pop-up Michael Flatley Dance Academy workshop will be held in August.

The pop-up workshop is for everyone to enjoy, whether you are a dancer, dance enthusiast or simply want to experience the world onstage.

The hour-long workshop will begin with a welcome from the academy teachers followed by a chance to learn the Michael Flatley dance steps onstage and then a sneak peek behind the scenes. They will then end with a Q&A session with members of the cast.

Participants will be grouped according to their ability as the academy professional dancers will give a taste of what it is like to pursue a career in dance.

The workshops are set to take place in select theatres around the country where The Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games cast will perform.

Make a day of it and purchase tickets to watch the cast perform in the matinee or evening show on the same day.

For Joburgers, the workshop will be held on 19 August at The Teatro at Montecasino.
