Holy Week and Easter to be celebrated at St Michael’s Anglican Church in Bryanston

BRYANSTON – The St Michael's Anglican Church in Bryanston will host a variety of Easter services.

 

The St Michael’s Anglican Church in Bryanston will host a variety of services during Holy Week and Easter.

Reverend Canon Godfrey Henwood, rector of St Michael’s Anglican Church said, “Come and be touched by the saving work of our Lord Jesus as we celebrate his death and resurrection during Holy Week.”

The dates for the services are as follows:

Psalm Sunday on 9 April. Usual Eucharist Sunday Services at 7am, 8.15am, 10.15am and 6pm

Taizé Service on 10 April at 6.30pm

Stations of the Cross on 11 April at 6.30pm

Celtic Service on 12 April at 6.30pm

Maundy Thursday on 13 April at 9.15am; Eucharist followed by lent course; 6.30pm foot washing, Eucharist and Vigil

Good Friday on 14 April at 9am; Family Stations of the Cross and three-hour devotions and Eucharist at 12pm

Easter Sunday on 16 April, Eucharist Service of Light at 6am and Eucharist at 8.30am and 10.30am.

The church is situated at 73 Mount Street, corner Bryanston Drive.
