Forest Farm Centre in Bryanston asks community to assist with wool and material donations
BRYANSTON – Can you assist the Forest Farm Centre in their need for wool and materials for the 100 Beanie Project?
The Forest Farm Centre in Bryanston is requesting wool and material donations from the community to help with the centre’s 100 Beanie Project.
For the project, residents of the centre knit blankets and beanies.
The centre is a residential facility which offers support and care for adults who have cerebral palsy. The residents of the centre are able to make a valuable contribution with their talents and gifts.

Last year, the residents knitted beanies for the 100 Beanie Project for Mandela Day and donated them to people at a soup kitchen in Claremont. Readers had responded very positively to the request for donations of wool.
This year, the centre is requesting wool as well as knitting material so its residents can make blankets which will be distributed to the aged.
