Residents urged to report any trees interfering with power lines

JOBURG – City Power urges residents to report trees that interfere with power lines as this might lead to outages.

Residents have been urged to report any trees in their areas that are interfering with electricity power lines to avoid unnecessary outages.

City Power said residents should make a habit to report trees interfering with electricity lines in their communities.

A spokesperson for City Power, Yumna Sheik said residents requesting the pruning or removal of a tree in front of their property can call City Power call centre on 086 056 2874 or log a call on the City Power website, www.citypower.co.za by clicking on Fault Logging.
