Making A Difference steps it up

SANDTON – Find who recently joined the Valentine's Day-themed blood drive on 19 February in Hamilton Park, Bryanston, and what they'll be bringing to the table.

 

The Valentine’s Day-themed blood drive, hosted by the Making A Difference committee, will be held on 19 February in Hamilton Park in Bryanston and businesses are hopping on board to join the initiative.

The Bub Hub Sandton, situated at Riverside Shopping Centre, has joined the initiative and will provide special vouchers for blood donors.

The Bub Hub Sandton from Riverside Shopping Centre just joined the blood drive initiative and will be giving away something special on the day.

“It’s a great idea so we’ll definitely be there on the day with something special to give away,” said Chantal Rodrigues of the Bub Hub, which originally started in 2014 and provides moms or moms-to-be with fun children’s classes, baby massages and postnatal fitness courses.

Hello Tomato, New Beginnings Pilates, Link Pharmacy, Riverside Liquors and Afro Bhan Thai Spa have recently joined as well, offering discount vouchers, raffles and refreshments to all community members who do their part for a good cause.

Lizzie’s Maids will also provide a live performance, whilst New Beginnings Pilates will run a free pilates session.
