Local school ends off year on high note

HYDE PARK – After being recognised as a leader in government schools, Hyde Park High School is now ready to take on the upcoming year.

Hyde Park High School has enjoyed a successful academic year and to top it off, the establishment was recently voted as the best government high school in Johannesburg for this year.

While the school year has ended on a high note, next year is also set to start off with a bang with the school celebrating its 60th anniversary and hosting an Easter Sports Festival in honour of its many years of educational excellence.

The festival will see teams from several schools in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng going head-to-head in various sporting codes including rugby, netball and hockey.

Hyde Park High School encouraged all those in next year’s grades to become fully involved in the holistic opportunities available to them which help them to grow and mould them into well-rounded, respected and capable young adults who will reach their full potential and potentially become ambassadors of the school.
