Taxi passenger shot dead
SANDTON - A passenger was shot and killed in a taxi travelling from Sandton.
A taxi passenger died last night, 16 November, in Eikenhof after a taxi he was travelling from Sandton was shot at by unknown suspects in Eikenhof. Spokeperson for Gauteng Province Captain Kay Makhubele said” It is alleged that the taxi was transporting passengers from Sandton to Palm springs when it was shot at around 7pm.”
“Three other passengers were wounded by gun shots, and one injured by glasses. The motive of the shooting is unknown at this stage, police are investigating cases of murder and attempted murder. No arrests have been made, we urge members of the community to assist with any information that might lead to arrest or identification of the suspects. ”
