PARKMORE – Ghosts and monsters appear in Parkmore...

Children all over the world dressed up in their scariest, most outlandish costumes for Halloween and the Parkmore youth joined in on the scary fun.

Kate Wardle, the deputy chairperson of the Parkmore Community Association said, “More than 300 children came out to enjoy the spooky treats generously donated by residents, with 13 ‘sweetie’ houses on the Halloween fun walk route.

The route began at the Parkmore Spar and ended in Shandon Way Park.

The Parkmore children were treated to Halloween balloons generously donated by Shane at The Balloon Stop.

Dr James Pitcher, a long-term Parkmore resident said, “A fantastic neighbourhood event. I felt seven again not 70.”
