Water outage in Morningside

According to a message sent out by Joburg Water this morning, there is no water in the Morningside area.

The message read, “We have removed the on site the contractor/Developer who’s been working on the job yesterday The problem was worse than we thought and we had to control it so that we don’t shut out the entire Sandton. We did some diversions and parts of morningside remained affected The pipe connected by the developer kicked 3 times yesterday and we still tried to rescue the problem 1. We already cutting to weld up a distance piece 2. We have 3 welders on site and we much faster and we should be done in the next few hours 3.
