Enter the AACL Poster Competition

JOHANNESBURG – Primary school pupils are encouraged to enter posters in the AACL Poster Competition.

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League’s (AACL) Annual Poster Competition is rapidly approaching and all primary school pupils are encouraged to enter.

Pupils may create posters depicting ways in which people show compassion and kindness to animals, as well as care for and affect animals’ lives in positive ways.

The poster must convey a message through a title or slogan.

Any medium may be used, including paint, pastel, ink and crayon, and paper size must be A2 or A3.

On each entry, pupils must clearly print their age, name, surname, entry category, grade, school’s name and email address, as well as their own phone number or their school’s phone number.

The categories for the competition are grades 1 and 2 in category one, grades 3, 4 and 5 in category two and grades 6 and 7 in category three.

The first place prize in each category is R2 000.

Top finalists and winners’ posters will also be announced and exhibited on Facebook during November and December.

The school which enters the most posters will win a Canon Laser multi-functional printer valued at R6 999.

Pupils may enter as many times as they like but each entry must be sent with a R10 donation which the AACL will use to help in their work of caring for and protecting animals.

All entries may be sent or delivered to:
