BREAKING NEWS: Oscar Pistorius treated in Hospital for ‘minor wrist injuries’
PRETORIA - According to reports convicted murderer and former-Paralympian Oscar Pistorius has been returned to his prison cell after being admitted to hospital for ‘minor injuries’ to his wrists.
According to reports a prison spokesperson confirmed that Pistorius was taken to Kalafong Hospital in Pretoria on 6 August.
Although blades were found in his cell during a routine search, reports claiming that Pistorius may have attempted suicide, have been defined as ‘speculation’.
It was reported that a prison spokesperson said that the 29-year-old Pistorius hurt himself after falling out of bed, however, a fellow inmate allegedly said that he hurt himself intentionally.
Pistorius is currently serving a six-year-jail term at Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre in Pretoria after he shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp dead in 2013.
