ADT members give back on Mandela Day
ALEXANDRA – Security company donates to Thuthuzela Community Centre for Mandela Day.
Staff members of security company ADT gave back for Mandela Day with a visit to Thuthuzela Community Centre in Alexandra.
A group of reaction officers and office workers enjoyed a day spending time with the children and staff at the centre and lighting up their day with a few generous donations.
Spokesperson for the company, Jacqui Moloi Rorke said, “Blankets, clothes, toys and non-perishable foods were donated by the staff at the ADT Johannesburg and Pretoria offices and handed over to the centre.”
Head of corporate communication of the company, Sihle Maake said, “We called upon our staff members to give what they could and were overwhelmed by the generous response. Children held a special place in Nelson Mandela’s heart and so we felt it fitting to celebrate this day by helping these beautiful children.”
