A video has surfaced showing a robbery involving five armed suspects at a business in Sandton on 13 July.
The incident occurred midday and saw the suspects calmly enter the business and point a firearm at the receptionist before the robbers stole what they could.
Spokesperson for private investigating company, the Intelligence Bureau, Warren la Mont said, “Five suspects driving a Range Rover and a white BMW X6 entered the premises and made off with various items of an undisclosed value.”
La Mont said many robberies in the area, whether business or residential, occur with suspects entering the property under false pretenses and under different guises.
He urged residents to not open for anyone who did not have a legitimate reason to be on the premises and advised them to be more vigilant when letting anyone onto their property.
The bureau is calling on the local community to forward any information that would lead to the whereabouts of the five suspects.
