Sandton SPCA gets R5 000 from King David pupils

LINKSFIELD – King David pupils show charitable side with R5 000 donation to SPCA.

Following a successful three-week raffle to raise funds for the Sandton and Eastern Metro SPCA, King David Linksfield Junior School Grade 2 pupils Sophie Hodes and Jade Robinson handed over their donation to the association.

The two pupils decided to host a raffle at their school to raise money for their local SPCA.

The competition saw two lucky entrants win a one-night stay at the Gold Reef City hotel which included breakfast and dinner, as well as tickets to the theme park, movies and tenpin bowling.

The two girls managed to raise an impressive R5 010 for the association.
