Be aware of what you eat

JOHANNESBURG - We take a look at how what you put in your mouth affects your health.

The kind of food you put into your mouth is the source of all your health issues.

This warning was recently released by a renowned online health publication, The Diet Everyone Talks About.

“Women suffering from health issues such as candida, allergies or other infections are often put on all sorts of medication, spend a lot of time feeling uncomfortable and never quite shake the problem,” read part of the report.

“What most doctors don’t tell you, however, is that changing your diet can significantly improve your health, combat infections and decrease your allergic reactions.”

The report warned women to stay away from a lot of sugar which has the potential to spread candida throughout the body.

“A lot of health issues that women experience are also due to food intolerances, such as being allergic to gluten. Many women suffer from celiac disease or gluten sensitivity without ever knowing it. This means they experience diarrhoea, an upset stomach, abdominal pain and bloating when they eat carbohydrates that contain gluten, but don’t realise that it is their diets that are causing these health issues.

“This can be very dangerous as well because the more gluten you eat, the more inflamed your small intestine becomes, which means that your body is not absorbing vital nutrients.”

The report urged readers to work with health industry experts in order to familiarise themselves with the kind of foods to avoid.
