Pampering nurses on Nurses Day

Sandton - This Nurses Day, our special, selfless nurses will be rewarded with some much-needed pampering.

There are those hardworking residents who work all year round, including on International Workers’ Day and other public holidays. One example is our caring and selfless nurses who celebrate Nurses Day on 12 May.

To celebrate this special day, Sorbet is giving all nurses free treatments on 12 May in their salons. Already, more than 200 nurses have contacted Sorbet branches in areas such as Bryanston and will either receive a free manicure or pedicure.

Marketing manager of Sorbet Group, Jade Kirkel said, “As a longstanding beauty salon that believes in uplifting our people and our guests, we are excited about sharing free treatments with those men and women who take care of our communities on a daily basis.

“These are the individuals who leave behind their own families to take care of ours; these are the ones that light the lamp for healing and revival of our sick and desolate; and these are the souls that keep the heart of our country and its people beating.”

Kirkel said that both nurses and Sorbet are in the business of helping people feel better. “Nurses do this on a much more intense level and that is why we want to pamper them. They are always taking care of everybody else.

“We should thank them for their indispensable contribution to our country at large.”
