Supercars for super kids

BRYANSTON - The Bryanston Shopping Centre rooftop was buzzing with excitement on 13 March as 10 children were treated to some high-powered fun at the SuperKids and SuperCars event.

Set up by supercar enthusiasts, Bradley Ainge and Darren Fresco, the event is a magical opportunity for children who are battling, or who overcome, cancer to take ride in a supercar.

The event is supported by the Sunflower Fund, Reach for a Dream and Cupcakes for Cancer.

On the day, the children’s parents excitedly watched as their children drove around in the exotic cars, giving them an exhilarating escape from the struggles which cancer has brought.

Ainge said, “From Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, McLaren, to Aston Martin, 12 beautifully polished supercars waited patiently for their drivers and young co-pilots.

“Everything ran so smoothly and it was a great time had by all. Seeing the smiles of the children that were there is something that money could just never buy.”
