Buccleuch to host prayer walk in response to crime

BUCCLEUCH – Buccleuch residents are invited to join an upcoming prayer walk against crime to be hosted in the community next week.

The walk is hosted in response to a spike in crime within the suburb and substance abuse among the youth, and will take place on 20 February at 9am.

The walk is organised by the Journey and Solid Community churches and will cover about 10km, beginning at Journey Church on 15 Twain Street.

Metro police will be present, along with marshalls, to ensure the safety of those participating in the walk.
