Sandown High School top pupil shines with six distinctions

SANDOWN – Sandown High school shone once again with their 2015 matric results.

 

The school’s combined matric group, achieved a 91.8 percent pass rate, produced 38 distinctions and 39 bachelor passes.

The top achiever, Ayomide Simeon Akinkugbe, obtained an impressive six distinctions and is planning to study computer sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand this year.

The matric grade head of the school expressed pride at the stellar performance of the matric class. “It just shows that if you put your will and mind to anything, it is possible to achieve greater heights in life,” Ms Sibanda said.

Sibanda also spoke of Akinkugbe’s stellar performance, congratulating him on his results and hailing them as a result of his hard work and dedication.

Akinkugbe was the deputy head boy at the school during last year.
