Nervous yet excited matric pupils receive their certificates

LONEHILL - With 12 years of schooling behind them, nervous yet excited Crawford College Lonehill Grade 12 pupils were issued with their matric certificates.

 

Russell Hardy, principal of the school said, “This is one of the moments where one has mixed feelings because of the close relationships one has with the pupils. We are very proud of our class of 2015 and it is a bit overwhelming to see children you have nurtured venture into the real world.”

Pupil Suvir Lutchman, who was top achiever of the school with straight As said, “It is a relief finally getting my results, after all the hard work I put in last year. I made sure I stayed motivated and consistent by keeping my marks up throughout the year.”

Lutchman added that he would love to study mathematics and physical science at the University of Cape Town. His ultimate goal is to become a surgeon one day.
