Bramley police, CPF wish residents a productive New Year

BRAMLEY - Bramley police acting station commander, Colonel Gonaseelan Govender, and Bramley Community Police Forum (CPF) chairperson, Harvey Phalatse wished residents a happy and productive New Year.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, speaking on behalf of Govender, said Bramley police management and staff members expressed their wishes to the community for a good New Year.

“As the Bramley police, we wish one and all a fulfilled and marvellous New Year,” he said.

“As Leland Cooper said ‘your subconscious mind never wanders, it always pays attention; it is always ready to make happen in your life those things, positive and negative, that you are imagining’.”

Adding to this was Phalatse, who wished all within the precinct a good New Year which focused on continuing the fight against crime. He added that, in the new year, the levels of crime should never be accepted in an active and involved community.

“[May we look forward] to next year with the assurance that all of us will continue to be true beacons of hope in fighting crime and ensuring a safer Bramley precinct,” he concluded.
