Xmas wishes from Bramley police

SANDTON - Bramley police and Community Police Forum wished Sandton residents a festive Christmas.

This was the message from the Bramley police acting station commander, Colonel Gonaseelan Govender and CPF chairperson, Harvey Phalatse.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, speaking on behalf of Govender, management and staff, wished all residents within the precinct a cheerful, fulfilled Christmas, and urged the community to work together with the police.

“Let’s work together and use the best of our past to shape the future,” Maphakela said.

Phalatse added to this, also urging residents to continue working together to continue bringing suspects linked to various crimes to book. He also thanked his colleagues at the CPF, the sector forums, police, councillors and residents for a productive year.

“This collaboration highlights the fact that by working together as the police and civil society, we are more likely to make an impact and contribute towards a decrease in crime,” he said.

Both leaders concluded by wishing residents a restful break and said they looked forward to a productive 2016.
