- Four cars were trapped under the wreckage of the bridge.
- Three people have died.

- Murray & Roberts, leading engineering and construction services company is responsible for the construction of the bridge.

- It is believed that a gust of wind pushed the scaffolding over, however, the structural investigation is not yet complete and authorities do not want to speculate.
