Don’t miss the SEAexpo

JOBURG - SEAexpo (Showbiz, Entertainment and Arts expo) returns to Joburg in September to provide people in the entertainment and arts industries a place to sharpen their skills and meet others just like themselves.

SEAexpo, founded in 2011 by Peter Sibeko – also the co-founder of C-Major Productions – affords attendees the opportunity to network and expand their horizons regarding which avenues are at their disposal in the business of arts and entertainment, and the opportunity to acquire the knowledge required from industry experts.

Leading businesses in these industries will connect with those at the expo from a number of stalls around the venue, where they will also be able to discuss opportunities for future business.

A conference will also be held each day where industry leaders will impart wisdom.

“During my time in the entertainment industry I’ve been fortunate enough to work with many talented personalities and I’ve always tried to stay in tune with the needs of the audience,” said infamous South African Idols judge, Randall Abrahams.

Abrahams is set to address those in attendance on the second day of the conference and share with them some of his showbiz knowledge.

He forms part of a prestigious line-up of speakers which includes National Arts Council CEO, Rosemary Mangope; Gaenor Artiste Management CEO, Gaenor Becker; and Personal Managers Association vice chair, Carlynn de Waal-Smit, among others.

The expo will take place in the heart of Newtown, at Museum Africa from 5 to 6 September.

The two-day exhibition promises to equip all young and aspiring entertainers with all the skills to launch their career, even touching on the topic of how to gain international appeal.
