Woman stabbed while travelling in taxi on William Nicol

BRYANSTON - A 27-year-old woman was seriously injured during a stabbing incident at the intersection of William Nicol Drive and Grosvenor Road in Bryanston on the morning of 13 August.

According to Netcare 911, paramedics arrived at the scene and found the woman sitting at the side of the road.

Upon assessment of the woman, paramedics found that she had sustained two stab wounds and was in a serious condition.

The woman was treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical treatment.

The exact details of the incident are being investigated however eyewitness reports from the scene indicate that the woman was travelling in a minibus when she was stabbed with a knife by a fellow commuter.
